Growing up, I loved to spend time in the shed with my dad, helping him with whatever creative project he was working on. This, along with a semester of Design and Technology in high school - where we had a brief exploration into jewellery - influenced my decision to pursue the possibilities of becoming a jeweller.
After studying Jewellery and Object Design at the Central Institute of Technology in Perth, I started at the workshop and gallery of John Miller Design in Yallingup. Having grown up in the town of Dunsborough, I was happy to be back in the South West, a place of beaches and bushland. Working for John gave me the opportunity to hone my skills in a practicing workshop, constantly learning, exploring new techniques and finding my own unique style.
In time, I have been able to set up my own workshop, where the People of Victory style can really flourish. The past years have taught me to have patience in the process. I am always inspired by the last piece I made, motivated to change and to challenge. I love to spend time experimenting with different forms, textures, patterns and details. Nothing makes me happier then being at the workbench, my space. Grateful for my tools, my maker hands, the honesty and heart poured into every piece I create.
